Himachal Explorer is run by Chandan Bar from Shimla. It was born from a deep love for the mountains, people and culture of Himachal Pradesh. I plan and support every trip myself, so you deal with one person from your first enquiry to your last day on the road.

It began as a collection of district guides and has grown into a full trip-planning platform — covering every district, curated stay and package options, an interactive route builder, and an encyclopedia of local culture, food and festivals.
